ABSTRACT
This research presents a high-performance, recursive DNS resolver server designed with a focus on preserving user privacy. The server incorporates robust Domain Name System Security Extensions (DNSSEC) support to ensure the integrity and authenticity of DNS responses while prioritizing privacy-centric practices. The architecture combines efficient recursive resolution with advanced privacy measures to safeguard user information in the context of increasing concerns regarding online privacy.
The DNS resolver server employs advanced caching mechanisms, query optimization, and load balancing strategies to enhance response times and overall performance. Privacy-preserving features include query encryption, minimizing data retention, and implementing techniques to mitigate DNS-related privacy risks. Additionally, the server actively supports DNSSEC to verify the authenticity of DNS responses, preventing potential security threats such as DNS spoofing.
The research evaluates the server’s performance and privacy-preserving capabilities through extensive testing and simulation scenarios. Key metrics, including response times, query success rates, and privacy enhancements, are analyzed to validate the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed DNS resolver server.
