ABSTRACT

IoT enhances healthcare, especially in mobile health and remote patient monitoring. However, the delay from cloud data transfer hampers real-time monitoring.

So when the health care IoT devices starts uploading current status of patient from smart home or hospital to the cloud continuously. The Fog-node collects the data and computes the received data and generates events for abnormal cases.

To address financial constraints, we’ll implement event computation on patients’ mobile devices with one-time-pad security, replacing fog nodes as servers.

Various researchers have suggested IoT-based remote monitoring systems for their high efficiency in delivering intensive time-sensitive information to the clients.

In existing system the smart health IoT devices will keep observing the patients and send data to the cloud directly. so This result in massive storage accumulation in cloud storage, processing the collected data is obviously a hard task to perform which results in computational overhead and delay in sending emergency alert.

The Fog Layer performs edge-level computing to analyze the health status of the respective patient based on threshold values. If the status is getting abnormal then the Fog layer sends the health data to the Cloud. The system will send the emergency message to Hospital Ambulance, Doctor, and relatives based on the type of event triggered. Fog computing enhances output efficiency by performing maximum computation at the edge level, making the cloud process lightweight.

Installation of fog nodes and maintaining as a server is again a financial constraint to the organization, so we going to implement the computation undergone in edge or fog servers in patients mobile device with one-time-pad security.
