Abstract of health care projects:
In the era of digital healthcare, the secure sharing of Personal Health Records (PHRs) is of paramount importance to ensure efficient healthcare delivery. This postgraduate student project introduces health care projects – SESPHR, a comprehensive methodology designed to address the challenges associated with the secure sharing of PHRs in the cloud. The proposed system leverages Java-based technologies to provide a robust and privacy-preserving solution for individuals and healthcare providers.
Existing System:
Traditional PHR systems often lack the necessary security measures to protect sensitive health information during storage and transmission. Current cloud-based solutions face challenges related to data privacy and security breaches. SESPHR aims to overcome these limitations by introducing advanced security features and a user-friendly interface.
Proposed System:
SESPHR employs a hybrid encryption approach, combining symmetric and asymmetric encryption techniques to safeguard PHRs. The system incorporates a fine-grained access control mechanism, allowing users to define and manage access permissions. Additionally, it integrates blockchain technology to ensure data integrity and traceability. The proposed system enhances collaboration between healthcare professionals and facilitates seamless sharing of PHRs among authorized users.
System Requirements:
- Minimum of 8GB RAM
- Quad-core processor
- 100GB of storage space
- High-speed internet connection
Hardware Requirements:
- Server: Dual-core processor, 16GB RAM, 500GB storage
- Client Devices: Desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones
Software Requirements:
- Operating System: Linux/Unix
- Database: MySQL
- Server-Side Language: Java
- Web Server: Apache Tomcat
- Encryption Libraries: Bouncy Castle
- Blockchain Integration: Hyperledger Fabric
Architecture:
SESPHR adopts a three-tier architecture comprising the presentation, application, and database layers. The presentation layer provides a user-friendly web interface, while the application layer manages the core functionalities, including encryption, access control, and blockchain integration. The database layer securely stores encrypted PHRs and access control metadata.
Technologies Used for this health care projects:
- Java for server-side development
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the web user interface
- MySQL for database management
- Bouncy Castle for encryption algorithms
- Hyperledger Fabric for blockchain integration
Web User Interface:
The web user interface of SESPHR is designed to be intuitive and accessible. Users can log in securely, view and update their PHRs, and manage access permissions. The interface incorporates responsive design principles, ensuring a seamless experience across various devices.
SESPHR represents a significant advancement in the secure sharing of PHRs, combining state-of-the-art technologies to protect sensitive health information while promoting collaboration among healthcare stakeholders.
