The “Advanced Tour Guide” project aims to develop a smart, Android-based application that acts as a personal tour guide for travelers. This app leverages modern technologies such as GPS, Augmented Reality (AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and real-time data analytics to provide users with an immersive and personalized touring experience. The application offers features like dynamic route planning, audio-guided tours, AR-based landmarks identification, and personalized recommendations based on user preferences. It is designed to enhance the travel experience by providing detailed information, historical context, and local insights, all while adapting to the user’s pace and interests.

Existing System:

Traditional tour guides often rely on human guides or static guidebooks, which can be inflexible, generic, and lacking in real-time information. Audio guide devices available at some tourist attractions are limited to pre-recorded content and do not adapt to individual preferences or real-time changes, such as weather conditions or opening hours. Existing digital solutions, like basic tour guide apps, offer limited interactivity, lack real-time data, and often fail to provide a truly personalized experience. Proposed System:

The proposed “Advanced Tour Guide” system is an Android application designed to offer an interactive and personalized travel experience. real-time navigation with AR enhancements, and audio guides that provide contextual information as
